Staff is welcoming, friendly, and willing to assist in any way with any concern or questions. I work in hospitality and it’s rare you find a place you’re 100% comfortable walking into for the first time. Thank you for my new kitty, I renamed strawberry to Athena.

Got my dog Freddie Mercury from here, and I loved it. The staff is very friendly and can see they take good care of their animals. Will forever come back to give another animal a home.

It was my first time going there and the atmosphere and the staff was so amazing and really nice. They really help you if you need it and let's not forget about the animals. The cats were so gorgeous and really adorable

I adopted two adorable cats from Friends of Strays. The staff was great, answering a ton of questions, The facilities are very clean and nice, and the animals are well cared for. They spay & neuter and vaccinate most of the animals before they get adopted. They are good at helping find pet matches and making sure existing animals and potential adoptees will be okay together.

We have had our Bennie Girl for over a year now and she is the best thing that has ever happened to us. She was 8 weeks when we got her and now she is 16 months. She loves to play with other dogs, swim in the ocean, go for long walks, and hop in a canoe from time to time. We recommend Friends of Stray to anyone that is looking for their next pup or cat. I went in to pet the dogs and was so surprised by the kindness of the staff. I was in there for a while so I got to see them interact with the most of the dogs and they were just so kind to them and so wonderful. They were so nice to me too! It really looks like a great place for the animals to live in, the cats have these cool-looking rooms too. Even though they live in a cool shelter, you should definitely bring those pets to your cool house. They are so sweet and need lots of love!

This local community no-kill animal shelter is an absolute gem in our community. We've had the pleasure of visiting and working with Friends of Strays, and each experience has been truly heartwarming. The staff members are compassionate, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond to ensure the animals are well taken care of. We're proud to support such a wonderful organization and encourage others to do the same!
